Responsibilities
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Integration Engineer to join our dynamic team in the payment domain. The Integration Engineer will be responsible for the seamless integration of payment systems, APIs, and third-party services into our platform, ensuring smooth and secure payment processing capabilities. The ideal candidate will have experience with payment processing systems, integration methodologies, and a strong understanding of the payment industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- System Integration: Design, develop, and maintain integrations between various payment processors, gateways, and internal platforms using RESTful APIs, SOAP, and other relevant technologies.
- Payment Gateway Integration: Work with various payment providers (e.g., Visa, MasterCard, PayPal, Stripe) to integrate their solutions into the platform.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve integration issues related to payment systems, including transactional failures, connectivity issues, and third-party service problems.
- Testing & Validation: Conduct integration testing to ensure that all components of the payment system work as expected across different environments (development, staging, production).
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
Experience:
3+ years of experience in integrating payment systems and third-party services.
Hands-on experience with payment gateways, processing systems, and industry standards. Familiarity with payment platforms (e.g., Stripe, Square, PayPal, Adyen) and protocols (e.g., ISO 20022, EMV).
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, Node.js).
Solid understanding of API design, integration patterns, and troubleshooting.
Knowledge of databases and data management (SQL, NoSQL).
Soft Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with tokenization and encryption methods in payment systems.
